Ways to Achieve Stress Relief

First of all you need to understand what stress is. There is no definitive description of stress as it affects different people in different ways.

Let's look at the workplace. People are saying all the time "I have a very stressful job." No you don't! There is no such thing as a stressful job. The amount of stress in the workplace is totally dependent on the individual who is doing the job. If there was such a thing as a stressful job then why isn't everyone doing that job off sick with stress?

Some people thrive in situations that others describe as stressful. Whereas others will experience stress doing even the most menial tasks with little or no responsibility attached to them.

The answer lies in the attitude of each individual. Look around your workplace and see who you perceive to be suffering from stress. There are people who sail through each day and others who look as if they are about to implode. Yet, they all have one thing in common. They are all doing the same job. It is the attitude of each individual that determines their stress level (or lack thereof).

There is a saying that sums it up perfectly, "don't let your day determine your attitude, rather, let your attitude determine the day you have."

There are several things that you can do tarot karty you feel that things are getting on top of you:-

1) Stop what you are doing even if it is only for 30 seconds, and think about doing something that you enjoy. You cannot feel stress when you are smiling.

2) Leave your workplace to go to the bathroom and take a couple of minutes of solitude, or if you have an ipod or MP3 player listen to something you like even for tanie ksiazki short time.

3) Imagine the job you are doing being completed rather than focusing on what you still have to do.

4) Be grateful for what you have. Compare yourself to those less fortunate ie. Homeless, unemployed, sick. You don't have to feel superior, just grateful.

Above all work on your attitude and tell yourself that whatever happens you will still be going home at the end of the day. Where is the stress in that?
